Zhimpa Moreno

Color Realism, New School, Tattoo Artist

Zhimpa Moreno is a Peruvian tattoo artist with over 20 years of experience, known for blending realism, fantasy, and cinematic portraiture in his tattoos. Trained in painting at Peru’s School of Fine Arts, he transitioned into tattooing, quickly gaining recognition and later opening his own studio, Inknation Studio.

Celebrated internationally, Moreno has won multiple awards at tattoo conventions across Europe, the U.S., and South America. He’s known for creating highly personalized pieces and actively contributes to the tattoo community through conventions and seminars.

Now based in New York, Moreno continues to evolve artistically at Inknation Studio, aiming to leave a lasting impact by crafting tattoos that reflect each client’s unique essence.

When are you able to help out?
(For every hour that you Volunteer at the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention, Loose Screw Tattoo will give you free tattoo time. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Morning and Monday Morning you will receive $15 of FREE TATTOO TIME for every hour worked and on Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday you will receive $10 of FREE TATTOO TIME per every hour worked)

We’re taking over the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian and we're sharing our convention discount with you! Stay the night, enjoy the full convention experience, but most importantly, party safe knowing you can have a drink or two and don’t have to drive.

Each night is $193.80 + 3% processing fee. (Cancellations: 24 hours notice prior to check-in date is required. Cancellations after that point are subject to be charged a total of one night's stay. There is a $50 early check-out fee for any reservation that vacates the room early)
Saturday Night rooms are sold out. If you need a room for Saturday use the link on our website to book with the neighboring hotel the Residence Inn.
