Sarah began her professional career as an artist after she graduated Magna cum Laude from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Graphic Design. While attending the Art Institute, she apprenticed under Alex Branwin (AKA Ashley Claypool), setting her on the path to become a tattoo artist.
In exploring her tattoo skill set, she found a deep love of portraiture and photo-realism, which she has honed during the past nine years. She would consider this her specialty and it is one of her favorite styles. Some of the great masters that have influenced her style range from master painters from antiquity, such as Jaques Louis David, and Alphonse Mucha to modern painters and tattoo artists, like Nikko Hurtado, Jeff Gogue, and Dimitri Samohin.
