Clay Montgomery became fascinated with tattoos at a young age. He grew up in a small town in North Florida with no tattoo studios and he realized that people with tattoos had been somewhere else and seen something interesting.
In 2001 Atomic Tattoos was born, Clay had partners with a vision in a new future for tattooing and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. Multiple locations and some of the best tattooers in the area helped grow the company and the skills of the artists and build the reputation of the company.
Clay maintained and honored the traditions of the past while pushing forward to the future. Tattooing is an experience and an art, who knows what the future will bring, one thing’s for sure, and that is Clay will be involved in some way, shape, or form.
