Corey collaborated with Maria Miller on a mural and their finished piece is now being auctioned off on Ebay to benefit ART 180. ART 180 is a Richmond, Virginia based group that creates and provides art-related programs for young people living in challenging circumstances, encouraging personal and community change through self-expression with the goal of turning lives and communities around 180 degrees.
Cory L. Stowers is a Washington, DC based artist. Stowers resume includes credited projects in film, recorded music, public art, photography, project management, publication, scholarly writings and education.
Stowers became Art Director of Words Beats & Life in 2007, and soon after began managing a number of the organizations projects. In addition to curriculum writing, event planning and creating a range of custom identity and brand pieces for the organization, Stowers taught weekly classes on graffiti style and murals to students he recruited into WBL’s after school program.
