Tragic Studio 804 is a family and veteran-owned business based in RVA, founded on the belief that art has the power to transform darkness into light, struggle into strength, and tragedy into beauty. For nearly two years, the studio has been crafting immersive and thought-provoking works, drawing inspiration from life’s rawest moments, forgotten stories, and unseen forces. With a growing presence, Tragic Studio 804 has been featured at RVA Galaxy Con’s Nightmare Weekend, World Oddities Expo (WOE) – RVA, and proudly serves as an official sponsor of After Dark RVA: Markster Con Productions – DC Creators community events.
Blending dark surrealism, gothic elegance, horror aesthetics, and raw expressionism, Tragic Studio 804 has cultivated a distinctive, haunting signature style that has established a notable presence within the local alternative and underground art community. Specializing in custom apparel, mixed-media artwork, and collaborative projects, the studio creates pieces that illuminate the beauty of sophisticated imperfection for those who resonate with the darkness of shadows.

When are you able to help out?
(For every hour that you Volunteer at the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention, Loose Screw Tattoo will give you free tattoo time. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Morning and Monday Morning you will receive $15 of FREE TATTOO TIME for every hour worked and on Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday you will receive $10 of FREE TATTOO TIME per every hour worked)

We’re taking over the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian and we're sharing our convention discount with you! Stay the night, enjoy the full convention experience, but most importantly, party safe knowing you can have a drink or two and don’t have to drive.

Each night is $193.80 + 3% processing fee. (Cancellations: 24 hours notice prior to check-in date is required. Cancellations after that point are subject to be charged a total of one night's stay. There is a $50 early check-out fee for any reservation that vacates the room early)
Saturday Night rooms are sold out. If you need a room for Saturday use the link on our website to book with the neighboring hotel the Residence Inn.
