Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention + Bingo Beer Co. Unveil Limited-Edition Convention Beer Design
The Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention is teaming up with award-winning Richmond brewery Bingo Beer Co. to release an exclusive, limited-edition beer design just in time for the 37th annual convention.
Together, they gave Bingo’s fan-favorite Costa Chica Mexican-Style Amber Lager some brand new ink, which will debut at a special pre-convention welcome party on Thursday, October 16 at the Atrium Bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Midlothian, where artists, media, event partners, and VIPs will get the first taste of the collectible release.
The new collaboration is one of several major fall releases for Bingo Beer Co., which continues to be a growing foundation for Richmond’s food and beverage scene. The brewery recently launched a fresh lineup of menu items from its in-house pizzeria concept, Yours Truly, Pizza. Fall offerings include the Chopped Cheese Pizza, Shroom Hunter Calzone, and Toga Party Greek Pizza, available for dine-in or takeout from their Broad Street location.
Bingo Beer is also introducing Cheat Code, a renamed line of hemp-derived, cocktail-inspired canned beverages featuring an introductory Paloma flavor with more on the way. The rebrand comes as the brewery expands distribution and celebrates the brewery’s recent silver medal win at the Virginia Craft Brewers Cup for River Day Wheat, recognized in the American Wheat and German Weiss category.
The Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention collaboration further strengthens Bingo Beer’s ties to Richmond’s creative community. This fall, the brewery also became the official craft beer of the VCU Siegel Center, where fans can enjoy Bingo Lager, Free Space Hazy IPA, and other staples during events and games.
The collaboration also highlights the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention’s continued commitment to supporting local art and culture. This year’s official nonprofit partner is Studio Two Three, a Richmond-based arts organization that promotes civic engagement and artistic empowerment.
Throughout the October 17–19 convention weekend, Studio Two Three will host live screen printing activations, offer discounted memberships, and participate in the Live Art for Charity Auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the nonprofit’s mission to support creative expression and community change.
Now in its 37th year, the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention remains one of the longest-running tattoo and arts events in the world, drawing over 175 tattooers, fine artists, and creators to the Greater Richmond Convention Center for three days of art, culture, and collaboration.
