Steps to Obtain Insurance

1. Reach out to your business insurance company and ask them how you go about listing companies as additionally insured.

 

2) The insurance company will likely have a special form for supplemental coverage of this nature. It’s typically called an Endorsement Request or something similar.

 

3. The Endorsement Request will typically ask for the following info:

     a) The Richmond Tattoo and Art Festival is hosted by RVA Tattoo Arts

           LLC.

     b) The Festival is October 18th, 19th and 20th of 2024.

     c) The Festival is held at the DoubleTree by Hilton – Midlothian: 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Midlothian, VA 23235.

 

4. When the Festival is added to the policy, 2 additional insureds should be included.

    a) RVA Tattoo Arts LLC: 3313A W. Cary St., Richmond, VA 23221

    b) Shamin Hotels/DoubleTree by Hilton – Midlothian: 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Midlothian, VA 23235

 

5) The insurance company will need time to process your application so make sure to get this done as soon as possible to mitigate any potential for it not getting it back on time.

 

6)  As soon as you receive your Proof of insurance (with 2 certificates of additional insureds) send it to eventcoordinator@richmondtattooconvention.com.

(All volunteers will receive a Free Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention T-Shirt for helping out)
(For every hour that you Volunteer at the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention, Loose Screw Tattoo will give you free tattoo time. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Morning and Monday Morning you will receive $15 of FREE TATTOO TIME for every hour worked and on Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday you will receive $10 of FREE TATTOO TIME per every hour worked)

We’re taking over the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian and we're sharing our convention discount with you! Stay the night, enjoy the full convention experience, but most importantly, party safe knowing you can have a drink or two and don’t have to drive.

Each night is $193.80 + 3% processing fee. (Cancellations: 24 hours notice prior to check-in date is required. Cancellations after that point are subject to be charged a total of one night's stay. There is a $50 early check-out fee for any reservation that vacates the room early)
