JAXN studied illustration and fine art at the Maryland Institute College of Art. He served his apprenticeship under the watchful eye of James Haun and has been tattooing professionally for over 20 years now. In 2020 he opened his own shop Pain in the Arts Tattoo in Ashburn, Virginia.
