Steps to Obtain Insurance (Tattoo Artists)

I need insurance:

If you don’t already have insurance, we’d be happy to get you coverage through our partner InkShopGuard.
Just let us know if you’d like to go this route. All we need is $50 to cover the cost, and we’ll handle all the paperwork for you!

 

I already have insurance:

1. Contact your insurance provider and ask how to list organizations as additionally insured.

2. They may require you to complete an Endorsement Request (or similarly named form) to add supplemental coverage.

3. The Endorsement Request will typically ask for the following info:

     a) The Richmond Tattoo and Art Convention is hosted by RVA Tattoo Arts

           LLC.

     b) The Convention is October 23rd, 24th and 25th of 2026.

     c) The Convention is held at the DoubleTree by Hilton – Midlothian: 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Midlothian, VA 23235.

4. When the Convention is added to the policy, be sure to list the following two additional insureds:

    a) RVA Tattoo Arts LLC: 3313A W. Cary St., Richmond, VA 23221

    b) Shamin Hotels/DoubleTree by Hilton – Midlothian: 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Midlothian, VA 23235

5) The insurance company will need time to process your application, so make sure to get this done as soon as possible to mitigate any potential for it not getting it back on time.

6)  Once you receive your proof of insurance with the two additional insureds listed, email it to eventcoordinator@richmondtattooconvention.com

On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Morning and Monday Morning you will receive $15 of FREE TATTOO TIME for every hour worked and on Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday you will receive $10 of FREE TATTOO TIME per every hour worked)

We’re taking over the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian and we're sharing our convention discount with you! Stay the night, enjoy the full convention experience, but most importantly, party safe knowing you can have a drink or two and don’t have to drive.

Each night is $193.80 + 3% processing fee. (Cancellations: 24 hours notice prior to check-in date is required. Cancellations after that point are subject to be charged a total of one night's stay. There is a $50 early check-out fee for any reservation that vacates the room early)
Saturday Night rooms are sold out. If you need a room for Saturday use the link on our website to book with the neighboring hotel the Residence Inn.
