Thank you so much for lending your talents to this years Live Art for Charity Event. We're super excited to have you! This year, the details are pretty simple, you will be decorating a 3′ x 3′ canvas wrapped panel with whatever it is that you'd like. We will cover any supplies that you might need and will be in touch as the convention gets closer. In the meantime, if you have any questions, concerns and/or ideas, please feel free to reach out.
- The Artist agrees to comply with all rules and guidelines set forth by the RVA Tattoo Arts LLC and the DoubleTree Hotel Richmond-Midlothian. Removal from the convention is at the discretion of the organizers. This is a family friendly event. Please act accordingly and make sure that your design reflects a family friendly environment.
- The Artist agrees to not alter the size of the space assigned to them. The Artist also agrees not to tape, nail, or use other adhesion methods to puncture and/or damage the property of the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian or RVA Tattoo Arts LLC. If damages are incurred, the Artist agrees to reimburse the or the Giving Arts Foundation. This includes damages caused by themselves, their agents, employees, subcontractors, and/or guests.
- Each Artist space is defined as follows: One 3′ x 3′ canvas wrapped panel within a 5'x5' space located within the outside Hotel Parking lot. Placement of space is at the discretion of RVA Tattoo Arts LLC. Each space includes one 8' table to display your merch/art and two chairs to be shared with another artist.
- Each Artist will receive two (2) Weekend Passes into the Richmond Tattoo and Arts Convention. One (1) for the Artist, and one (1) for a helper, friend, etc. Additional Weekend Passes can be purchased for $55.00 a piece.
- The Artist agrees to paint all three days of the convention throughout the duration of each day (Friday 3-8pm, Saturday 12-8pm, and Sunday 12-5pm). If the Artist cannot commit to all three days, they must inform RVA Tattoo Arts LLC so that plans can be made accordingly. If the Artist leaves early without notice they may not be invited to subsequent conventions.
- The Artist gives RVA Tattoo Arts LLC the right to photograph and/or use the Artists artwork for promotional purposes in future shows.
- All pieces will be auctioned off online following the convention, with all proceeds going to charity.
- This contract may not be altered except by amending the agreement in writing, and agreed to by all parties/agents involved including RVA Tattoo Arts LLC and the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian. Each obligation and/or agreement of a party contained in this contract, even though not expressed as a covenant, is considered for all purposes to be a covenant.
- The Artist affirms that they are insured either individually or under a business in which they are representing and have listed RVA Tattoo Arts LLC and Shamin/Koger LLC as additionally insured.
- The Artist hereby affirms that they have read and understands the Contract, Terms and Conditions of this agreement, and accepts and agrees to all of its terms and conditions.
- The Artist affirms that they enter into this agreement voluntarily, with full knowledge of its effect. The Artist affirms that they are authorized, by virtue of the Undersigned's title with the business entity, to execute this document by the business entity or such other person on whose behalf it is submitted.
