Gunnar Gaylord

Influenced by his friend’s encouragement, Gunnar dared to venture beyond the realms of tattoos and colored pencils, ultimately unveiling his true passion for painting. Initially renowned for his signature cartoon-like characters, he seamlessly integrated them into his tattoos and paintings, creating a new perspective and style. Over the course of the next two decades, he participated in prestigious groups and gallery shows that showcased his body of work, even doing 3 solo exhibitions. In addition to sharing his art with the world, Gunnar generously imparted his knowledge and passion, mentoring aspiring artists and offering art lessons to children in latchkey programs, as well as collaborating with fellow professionals.

He will be painting live and will have artwork available for sale.

(For every hour that you Volunteer at the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention, Loose Screw Tattoo will give you free tattoo time. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Morning and Monday Morning you will receive $15 of FREE TATTOO TIME for every hour worked and on Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday you will receive $10 of FREE TATTOO TIME per every hour worked)

We’re taking over the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian and we're sharing our convention discount with you! Stay the night, enjoy the full convention experience, but most importantly, party safe knowing you can have a drink or two and don’t have to drive.

Each night is $193.80 + 3% processing fee. (Cancellations: 24 hours notice prior to check-in date is required. Cancellations after that point are subject to be charged a total of one night's stay. There is a $50 early check-out fee for any reservation that vacates the room early)
