Melissa Casanova Art + VA Creations

Melissa and Virginia Casanova are a Richmond-based mother-daughter artist duo working across painting and ceramics. Melissa creates vibrant, layered abstract paintings inspired by memory, identity, nature, and place, while Virginia creates expressive ceramic vessels and sculptural pieces. Their work often develops in conversation with one another, sharing color, form, and recurring influences while remaining distinct to each artist. They’re excited to bring a mix of original paintings, ceramics, and fine art prints to the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention.
