Jason Ford

Jason Ford is a Richmond-based multidisciplinary artist and muralist known for fine art, large-scale

murals and public art installations. His work explores themes of identity and resilience, expressed through a visual language grounded in bold color and intentional design. He studied illustration at East Carolina University where he developed the foundation of his creative approach.

Ford’s practice is defined by a distinct style applied across a range of subjects, creating work with a strong sense of presence and visual impact. His use of scale, form and detail allows each piece to carry both immediacy and depth inviting viewers into a layered experience that unfolds over time. His murals can be found across Richmond and throughout the region. Notable projects include his tribute mural honoring tennis legend Arthur Ashe on Arthur Ashe Boulevard, a mural at Ellwood Thompson’s Local Market in partnership with Fairtrade America, and a large-scale piece at the Boys and Girls Club Teen Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Working under his creative platform Nosaj Authentics Brand, Ford maintains an independent practice while also collaborating with businesses,

institutions and community organizations to produce public artwork and creative experiences centered on storytelling and connection.
