Nico Cathcart

Nico Cathcart is a Deaf/Hard of Hearing contemporary muralist and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of the human condition, and the intricate balance between the natural and urban worlds. Born in Toronto, Canada, she currently lives in Richmond, Virginia. She is a veteran of the Live Painting portion of the Richmond Tattoo Arts Festival. Nico is an active member of Few and Far Women Graffiti crew, and her work has been exhibited widely in galleries, mural festivals and museums across the world. She has been lauded as one of top 50 women in street art, in the book Street art by Women, and her NC School of the Deaf Mural “Sign of the Times” was selected as one of the top 50 painted in the world by the experts of Street Art Cities in 2025.
