James Tex

James Tex started his career over 28 years ago in Victoria, British Columbia in 1998 and relocating to Calgary, Alberta in 2000. He opened his own tattoo studio in 2005 called Deadly Tattoos inc and it is still in operation today. With attending many tattoo conventions over his 28 year career James has accumulated many awards and has been featured in numerous magazine articles around the world. James is an Illustrative Tattooer specializing in heavily influenced Japanese and Illustrative styles. James Tex is the Season 16 winner of Ink Master and first ever Canadian to win Ink Master.
