Samantha Brodek

I’m Samantha Brodek, an artist and tattooist in Richmond, Virginia. I studied at VCU Arts and earned a bachelors degree in communication arts. I focus in gothic artwork, combining geometry patterns and elements of nature to contrast themes of delicacy and beauty with dark, creepy imagery. Inspired by Buddhist philosophy- exploring the duality of human existence, I hope to capture and illuminate the beauty of decay. I love creating intricately detailed blackwork tattoos and gravitate towards darker subject matter, with a love for snakes, skulls, and insects.
