Billy Eason Era 2

The Golden Age of Growth

As the 2000s rolled in, the convention hit its stride, evolving from a regional secret into a world-renowned destination. This period saw an explosion in attendance and the arrival of international legends who traveled thousands of miles just to be part of the magic. The atmosphere shifted from a trade show to a full-blown family reunion, where the biggest names in the industry rubbed elbows with up-and-coming talent. It was the era that cemented Richmond’s reputation as one of the most important cities in tattoo history.
